Friday Night Full Moon Skate 2011

Friday Night Full Moon Skate 2011

Hi Robichon’s Alumni,
You are receiving this email as we do not  want you to miss out on the first ever Friday Night Full Moon Skate this upcoming Friday night in Minneapolis.

Skate Ventures – Friday Night Full Moon Skate (the first ever friday night full moon skate!)

Listen to live music while the moon begins to glow illuminating our full moon skate route. As we gather at the Depot Coffee House patio at 8:00 p.m., the sun will be falling giving rise to May’s full moon bloom. By 8:30 p.m., we will be fully geared and ready to roll portions of the Greenway, Kenilworth, Cedar trails, and Lake of The Isles. Roll while viewing the moon lighted downtown / Minneapolis skylines, and the calming waters and landscape of Lake of The Isles! After skating approximately 15 miles (Long route), 11 miles (medium route), 5 miles (short route), meet back at The Depot Coffee House for more live music, food and an overall convivial atmosphere.

Skill level:
The skate route is for advanced beginners and up. It is important to know how to slow and stop, as we will skate some moderate hills and varying terrain changes.

Equipment Suggestions: Helmet light, helmet cam, identification, health insurance card, water, petty cash, freely moving comfortable skates, helmet, wrist guards for sure; you may consider two other pads (elbow, knee). Oh, yes, and a camera and a smile. : )

*All skaters skate at their own risk…

To prepare: Consider taking recreational and or fitness / marathon training with our sponsor Robichon’s Skate School.

And if you can’t make it, invite your friends!

Warm Regards,

Noelle
